PINEAPPLE CHERRY JAM 
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. chopped cherries (maraschino)
3/4 c. water
1 pkg. Jell-Well

Measure sugar and set aside. In large saucepan mix fruits and water. Add Jell-Well and mix thoroughly. Bring to a hard boil. At once stir in sugar, stirring constantly. Bring to a full boil again and boil hard 1 minute. Remove from heat and with a metal spoon skim foam.

Then stir and skim for about 5 minutes to prevent fruit from floating in jars.

Ladle quickly into hot sterilized glasses - seal. Makes 6 or 7 glasses.

Use 8 ounce glasses with 2 piece lids. Wash glasses and keep in slow boiling water about 10 minutes. Use your Dutch oven.
