SQUASH PATTIES 
3 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
4 tbsp. milk
3 med.-sized onions, finely chopped
2 c. cooked, mashed squash
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Hot salad oil

Combine all ingredients except oil. Mix well. Drop mixture by tablespoons into 1/8 inch hot oil in a large skillet. Flatten patties to 1/4 inch thickness. Cook to golden brown; turn and brown on other side.
