CARDAMOM COFFEE BREAD 
1 c. scalded milk
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 pkgs. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
3 eggs
8 whole cardamom, shelled & ground up
7 c. flour

In large bowl, mix scalded milk and butter. Add sugar and yeast. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well. Add the ground cardamom and mix well.

Add the flour, little at a time. Knead well into a soft dough on a floured counter top or bread board. Put into greased bowl, cover, let raise in a warm place until double. Shape into 4 braided breads. Let rise. Bake in 325 degree oven until golden brown.

Glaze with 1/4 cup butter in 3/4 cup coffee. Sprinkle with sugar.
