THE MAN'S MIX (TRAIL-BLAZER) | |
1/4 cup sunflower seeds 1/4 cup cashew nuts 1/2 cup banana chips 1/2 cup sliced almonds 1/4 cup raisins 1 cup pretzel sticks 1/4 cup dried blueberries 1 cup Chex cereal 1 cup Kix cereal 1 cup dried apple 1/4 cup dried pineapple 1/4 lb. peppered beef jerky First take a baking sheet and place your sunflower seeds, cashew nuts, banana chips and sliced almonds on in with two splashes of salt (take it easy). Pop in the oven at 250°F for 20 minutes. Take out and let cool. Then get a two gallon tub to hold your mix with a sealed top. Pop everything in but the jerky. Shake to mix and spread out the flavor. Then when your ready to eat pop some into a smaller lunch bag and toss in your peppered jerky... Note: Remember not good to store your meat with your mix or the shelf life of your mix with be greatly reduced.. Submitted by: Shane Ivan Nash |
