CRESCENT BARS 
2 cans crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar

Press 1 can crescent rolls into 9x13 greased pan.

Beat two 8 ounce packages cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg yolk. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice and 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Put on top of crescent rolls. Top with other can of crescent rolls.

Beat egg white until frothy and brush on top. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on top (nuts optional). Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
