BANANA BRUNCH CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed banana
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Topping below

Cream butter until light, then gradually add sugar, beating constantly. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix in banana, vanilla and sour cream. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt and fold into creamed mixture, stirring just enough to moisten. Sprinkle half of topping over bottom of well greased 9 inch square pan or 10 inch bundt pan. Spoon half of batter over topping. Sprinkle remaining topping over batter, then cover with remaining batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine nuts, sugar and cinnamon.
