MOM'S PICCILLI OR CHOW-CHOW | |
Green solid tomatoes, ground Carrots, ground Onions, ground Green & red peppers, ground Cabbage, grated Celery, chopped Enough of these vegetables to make 4 quarts. Put these spices in a cheesecloth bag with: 3 c. cider vinegar 2 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. mustard seed 1 tbsp. whole allspice Cinnamon bark Bring to a boil. Add vegetables. Cook 5 to 10 minutes. Put in jars and seal. |
