MADELINE ANTICI'S CABBAGE WITH
V-8 JUICE
 
Ground meat
Chopped cabbage, well drained
V-8 juice

(All amounts depend on how many you are cooking for - keeps well.)

Brown ground meat in pot in which you are going to cook the cabbage - season. Add cabbage and pour V-8 juice on top of cabbage. Cover tightly, turn heat down and cook until cabbage has cooked down. Stir well from top to bottom. Simmer approximately 1 hour or until cabbage has cooked down.

VARIATIONS: Onions/cayenne-red pepper or both!
