BROCCOLI - CHEESE DELIGHT 
2 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 1/2 stalks celery, chopped
1 sm. can mushrooms
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Salt & pepper to taste

Saute onion and celery in butter. Cook broccoli until tender in a small amount of water; drain. Add mushrooms, onion and celery to broccoli.

In a saucepan melt butter (4 tablespoons); blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk, cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Reduce heat, blend in cream cheese until smooth. Pour half of sauce mixture on broccoli, then pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch casserole. Pour remaining sauce mixture over broccoli; sprinkle shredded cheese and bread crumbs on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
