DREAM COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture. Makes about 5 dozen small cookies.

ROLLED COOKIES:

Chill dough 1 hour. Roll thin on floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes.

FROSTING:

Sift 1 pound powdered sugar. Add about 1/3 of it to 4 tablespoons melted butter. Mix thoroughly. Beat in 1 egg white. Gradually add rest of the sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2-3 teaspoons milk. Tint with food colors. FREEZES WELL.
