CROCK POT APPLE BUTTER 
Cook 5 pounds Jonathan apples in 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar (quartered and cored, not peeled). Makes 7 quarts pulp.

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves

Cook all night with lid slightly ajar; put toothpick under lid. Put in hot jars and seal.
