PEANUT BUSTER DESSERT 
1 lb. Oreo cookies
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 gal. Oreo (or plain vanilla) ice cream
1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts

Base: Crush cookies and mix with melted butter. Spread in a 9 x 13 inch pan. slice ice cream and layer over cookies. Sprinkle peanuts on top of ice cream.

TOPPING:

2 c. powdered sugar
2/3 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. (12 oz. can) Carnation evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine powdered sugar, chocolate chips, butter and evaporated milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil - boil 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool before pouring over ice cream. Keep frozen until serving.
