COCA-COLA CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter (yes, 2 sticks!)
1 c. Coca-Cola
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine sugar and flour. Heat butter, Coke and cocoa to a boiling point. Pour over sugar and flour mixture. Beat well. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Beat well. Add marshmallows (they will float on the top). Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake for 35 minutes. Ice cake while hot with icing.

Icing for Coca-Cola Cake:

1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. Coca-Cola
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat butter, cocoa and Coke to boiling point. Pour over powdered sugar. Beat well until smooth. Add nuts and vanilla; mix well. Pour over cake while hot. Cake serves 12 to 15.
