BEAN POT CASSEROLE | |
1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can baked beans with molasses 1 lb. regular pork sausage 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. ketchup Brown sausage, remove from pan. In same pan saute onion, green pepper, then add sugar, vinegar and ketchup; blend well. Add beans and sausage. Let cook a minute or two. Pour into casserole (I use my bean pot). Bake until bubbly and well heated through. |
