WALNUT BARK 
40 saltine crackers (approximately)
1 1/2 sticks butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
12 oz. chocolate chips
crushed walnuts (as desired)

Place saltines on foil lined cookie tray. Melt butter and brown sugar and then pour this mixture over the crackers.

Bake in preheated 400°F oven about 5 minutes or until bubbling. Remove and sprinkle with chocolate chips, letting them melt, then spread with back of spoon. Add walnuts and press in slightly. Refrigerate for an hour or so; then either break or cut into pieces.
