PEACH (OR APRICOT) BARS 
1 pkg. white cake mix
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1 c. peach or apricot preserves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except preserves. Set aside 1 1/2 cups of mixture. Press remainder in 13" x 9" x 2" pan. Spread with preserves. Sprinkle with reserved mixture. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned. When slightly cooled loosen edges with a knife. Cut into 2" bars when cool.
