CLAM CHOWDER 
Salt pork
2 stalks celery
2 carrots
1 lg. onion
Salt and pepper
Oregano
Pinch each of celery salt and garlic powder
2 cans tomato soup
4-5 chopped potatoes
10-12 crushed saltines
2 cans clams and broth

Saute salt pork in frying pan (large one). Saute celery, carrots, onion, 1 pat butter, salt and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes.

Put clams and broth in large pan and fill pan 3/4 full with water. Add spices and vegetables (from fry pan) into broth. Let simmer for a few hours.
