CRUSTY COBBLER | |
1/2 c. butter 1/3 c. flour 3/4 c. milk 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. pecans 3 to 4 c. fruit from this area that is in season (apricot, peach, apple) Melt butter in deep dish. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and milk. Pour over melted butter; do not stir. Pour fruit over mixture, do not stir. Sprinkle with pecans. If fresh fruit is used, sprinkle 3/4 cup sugar over top. Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees. |
