ELEPHANT STEW 
1 elephant
1 1/2 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 pinch of salt
1 lg. new potato
3 carrots
1 freshly ground peppercorn
2 rabbits
1 sm. pearl onion

Cut elephant into small bite size pieces; should take about 2 months. Add brown gravy to cover. Add vegetables and seasoning. Cook over kerosene fire until tender, about 4 weeks at 465 degrees.

This will serve 3, 800 people. If more are expected, the rabbits may be added. However, do this only if absolutely necessary as most people do not take to finding hare in their stew.
