PASTA SALAD 
1 box spiral or shell pasta
2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. corn oil
1 sm. onion, chopped (optional)
Green and ripe olives
Pimentos, green pepper
Fresh mushrooms
Paul Newman's Olive Oil and Italian dressing

Cook pasta and rinse with cold water and drain well. Mix well sugar, vinegar and oil; stir into pasta. Add chopped onion, green and ripe olives, pimento, green pepper and fresh mushrooms. Marinate overnight, then add Paul Newman's dressing to taste (approximately 1/2 to 1 cup). Marinate again overnight. Colored shells or spirals may be added. This dressing is usually sufficient for added pasta. Avocado may also be added just before serving.
