CARAMEL NUT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Thoroughly mix butter, sugar and eggs. Sift together and stir in flour, salt, soda. Blend in nuts. Form into 2 rolls, 2 inch in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight. Cut into slices and bake 8-10 minutes on ungreased sheet at 350 degrees, until set but not hard. Makes 6 dozen.
