HIGH BALLS 
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. bourbon, rum, brandy or sweet sherry
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. finely broken nut meats (walnuts or pecans)

Sift cocoa with powdered sugar. Add alcohol and corn syrup. Mix thoroughly. Add vanilla wafers and nuts. Mix everything very well. Form small balls about the size of marbles. Dredge in powdered sugar. Let sit for 1-2 hours. Redredge in powdered sugar.
