FRITO DRESSING FOR TURKEY
I have made this dressing since 1951 -- it was on the back of a package of Fritos. Misplaced the recipe - even Frito company couldn't help me find it. I have given this out so many times. My sons and grandson thinks it is the best.

turkey giblets

Boil giblets to make broth for dressing and gravy.

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted in large pan
2 cups finely chopped celery
3 bunches chopped green onions
1 1/2 cups finely chopped green/red peppers

Sauté until clear -- do not brown. Add:

4 (15 oz. ea.) cans creamed corn
3 pkgs. Frito's, crushed
1/2 giblets, chopped up

Add enough broth for moist dressing (may also add another can of corn). Refrigerate.

When ready to bake turkey, stuff, not too tight. Put balance of dressing in greased pan/cover with foil and bake.

Thanks -- enjoy!
