PINEAPPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. cake flour
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix butter, sugar and egg yolks, beat well. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Beat egg whites stiff and add vanilla. Add flour mixture with buttermilk and beat until smooth. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 4 cake pans that have been greased and wax papered. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

PINEAPPLE FILLING:

1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. box vanilla instant pudding
1 lg. box Dream Whip
1 c. sour cream

Prepare pudding by directions on box and beat in pineapple. Let stand for 30 minutes. Add sour cream and Dream Whip. Mix well and spread on cake.
