SOUR CREAM MUFFINS (With
Chocolate Chips)
 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
2 1/8 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter and sugars. Beat in eggs until blended. Beat in sour cream and milk until blended. Add remaining ingredients, all at once, and stir until dry ingredients are just moistened. Do not overmix.

Spoon into muffin cups and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until muffins are lightly brown. Cool for 10 minutes and remove from pans. Yield 18 muffins.
