Oven at 350 degrees. Mini-muffins - 36. 1 c. butter, softened 2/3 c. sugar 1 lg. egg 1 tsp. almond extract 2 c. flour 1 c. ground almonds Decorations In large bowl mix butter and sugar at medium speed, until light and fluffy. Add egg and extract. Stir in flour, almonds and 1/4 teaspoon salt until blended. Put mixture in pastry bag with large star or in cookie press with star. Pipe into paper muffin cups. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks. Place some confectioners' sugar in sieve and put on muffins with green or red cherries, sliced. |
