APPLESAUCE DATE NUT BREAD 
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. dates, cut up
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. applesauce
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

With fork mix walnuts, dates, baking soda, and salt. Add applesauce; let stand for 20 minutes. Forkbeat flour, sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Add date mix; stir just until blended.

Bake in prepared pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tests done. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely. Wrap in foil. May be frozen.
