1 c. butter 1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. oatmeal 2 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. coconut 1 c. nuts (optional) Any other cereal can be substituted for the nuts, such as Rice Chex, wheat germ, cornflakes. Mix all ingredients, adding each in the order given. When well mixed, drop by rounded teaspoon. Bake at 375 degrees for 11 to 12 minutes. |
