FRED'S RUM CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix with pudding
4 eggs
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. rum
Slivered pecans

GLAZE:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. orange juice
1/4 c. rum
1 c. granulated sugar

Grease and flour pan. Put pecans on bottom and pour batter in (use a tube pan). Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Loosen sides and pour glaze over cake. (Can also put on dish and slowly pour and brush glaze on cake).

GLAZE: Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over cake.
