MRS. ARMSTRONG'S STRAWBERRY CAKE 
Icing:

1 box powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. Strawberry Mixture

Add powdered sugar and butter together in a glass bowl. Cream together thoroughly. Add the Strawberry Mixture and beat well. Ice cooled layers, stacking as you go. Save some icing for the sides of the cake. Refrigerate until time to serve.

Cake:

1 c. oil
1/2 c. water
1 small box strawberry Jell-O
4 eggs
1/2 c. Strawberry Mixture*

*Mix 1 pint fresh strawberries (diced) and 1/2 cup sugar or 1 (10 ounce) package frozen strawberries (thawed) together in a glass bowl. This will make enough for both the batter and the icing. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Mix all the cake ingredients together in a large glass bowl. Beat well. Pour batter into 3 well-greased and lightly floured 9-inch cake pans.

Bake until done, about 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly before icing.
