GARLIC GREEN BEANS | |
1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. oil (Wesson) 2-3 cans (17 oz.) French style green beans (Del Monte) 1 bulb garlic, peeled and sliced Open and drain beans. Pour in pan with lid. Use 2 cup measuring cup. Put sugar. Add vinegar to 1 1/2. Fill cup rest with oil and stir. Pour over beans. Prepare garlic and put slices over top of beans - do not stir. Cover with lid and set overnight. Heat to fast boil and serve. Good! |
