GUMDROP COOKIES 
2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. oatmeal
2/3 c. nuts
1 c. coconut
1 c. gumdrops (no black)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add all dry ingredients one at a time. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
