SEALEGS QUICHE | |
1 quiche crust, baked and cooled 1/2 lb. or more imitation (or real) crab meat 1 med. yellow onion, sliced 2 tbsp. butter 4 eggs, beaten 3/4 c. cream 1 1/4 c. milk Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 lb. Jarlsberg Swiss cheese, coarsely grated Buy a frozen crust or make one from scratch and bake and cool it. Saute the onion and sealegs in butter until the onions are translucent. Place in the bottom of the prepared quiche crust. Combine the eggs, cream, milk and salt and pepper in a bowl, beat together and pour into the shell. Top with the grated Swiss cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cool for a few minutes before cutting. Yields 4 servings. |
