SUPER SIMPLE SOUP | |
1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni (2 cups uncooked) 1 to 1 1/2 lb. smoked sausage, sliced and quartered 1 1/2 shredded cabbage 1/2 cup shredded carrots 4 green onions with tops, sliced 6 cups chicken or beef broth 1 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 2 or 3 drops hot pepper sauce Cook macaroni by package directions; drain. In large pot, cook sausage, cabbage, carrots, and onions until vegetables are tender. Add remaining ingredients; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in macaroni and heat thoroughly. |
