CRAB MELT | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 pkg. Bread du Jour French bread or English muffins 1/2 c. butter 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1 (6 oz.) can flaked crabmeat 1 oz. pimientos Melt butter and cheese over low heat; add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt. Mix well. Process in blender until smooth. In bowl, fold in crabmeat and pimientos; mix well. Slice bread into half inch slices (or use English muffins and cut into quarter pieces) and spread on crabmeat mixture. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve immediately. |
