Rest of 1 gallon cider 1 (6 oz.) can undiluted lemonade 1 (6oz.) can undiluted orange juice 1 c. packed brown sugar Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 13x9-inch baking dish arrange 3 large cored apples, cut in half, cut side down. Bake 25 minutes. Meanwhile, heat 2 cups cider with six whole cloves, 6 whole allspice and 2 teaspoons nutmeg for 10 minutes. Add ingredients listed above. Heat until hot; do not boil. Float apples in Wassail bowl. Yield: 36 (1/2 cup) servings. |
