LEMON MERINGUE PIE 
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp. butter
1 pie shell
1 recipe meringue
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/3 c. lemon juice

Mix cornstarch, salt and sugar. Add to the 1 1/2 cup of boiling water and stir constantly until thick. Add beaten egg yolks and cook 1 minute longer. Add lemon juice and butter. Cook - pour into pie shell - add meringue and cook until brown.
