MARIAN MITCHELL'S STRAWBERRY PIE 
Baked pie shell
1 pkg. cream cheese, enough cream to spread
2 tbsp. cornstarch, rounded
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 qt. lg. strawberries
Whipped cream

Soften cream cheese with cream to spread on bottom of pie shell. Put hulled large strawberries over whole shell, points up. Crush smaller berries and heat. Pour over the mixed sugar and cornstarch. Cook, until clear. Cool slightly. Pour over berries in pie shell. Chill. Serve topped with whipped cream or frozen vanilla yogurt.

Amended for calories: Omit baked pie shell if wished, use glass dish; Use low cal cream cheese or milk for the cream cheese; Use frozen yogurt or low cal ice cream for whipped cream.
