2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Place butter, oil, cocoa and water in a pan. Bring to a boil and pour over flour and sugar. Mix in buttermilk, eggs, cinnamon, soda and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.

FUDGE ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa

Bring these to boil and remove from heat, then add:

1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix by hand and spread over warm cake.
