UPSIDE DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE
CAKE
 
1 pkg. devil's food chocolate cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1/4 c. water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (13 1/2 oz.) size can flaked coconut (I only use about 8 oz.)

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Grease sides but not bottom of 12 inch cake pan or a 13 x 9 inch sheet cake pan. Melt butter in bottom of cake pan; add water, brown sugar, nuts and coconut. Stir and even out. Pour prepared cake batter on top. Bake according to directions on cake mix package. Remove from oven and let cool 5-10 minutes. Invert on serving plate.
