1 (20 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury Best refrigerated sugar cookies 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 3/4 c. sugar 1 sm. carton (8 oz.) sour cream 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. orange marmalade or peach or apricot preserves 2 tsp. water Assorted fruit Line a 14 inch pizza pan with foil. Freeze cookie dough, at least, 1 hour. Cut dough into small slices, approximately 1/8 inch thick. Line pizza pan with slices, overlapping edges slightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Invert and, very carefully, remove foil. Turn right side up. Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Add sour cream and mix until blended. Spread over crust. Arrange fruit over cream cheese layer. Glaze with marmalade and water. Chill. Cut into wedges. Note: Fruits of varying colors make a more attractive pizza. (Strawberries, bananas, mandarin oranges, kiwi fruit, pineapple and grapes.) Arrange the fruit in a circular pattern. |
