QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 single pie crust
1 c. half & half
3 eggs
2 tbsp. chopped green onion
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. freeze-dried chives
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese (about 6 oz.)
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

In small mixing bowl, combine half & half, eggs, onion, flour, chives, seasoned salt and white pepper. Beat until well blended. Microwave at medium power for 6 to 7 minutes, or until hot yet not set, stirring 3 times. Sprinkle cheese evenly into crust. Pour hot egg mixture over cheese. Sprinkle with bacon. Place quiche on saucer in oven. Microwave at medium power for 14 to 18 minutes, or until center is set yet moist, rotating plate every 5 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.

Cooking time: 29 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
