FUDGE-NUT BROWNIES 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
3 oz. premelted unsweetened baking chocolate
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. uncooked quick or old-fashioned oats
1 c. chopped nuts

13x9x2 inch pan. 325 degrees. 30 minutes.

Stir together flour and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in eggs, chocolate and vanilla until well blended. Stir in flour mixture, then oats and nuts.

Spread batter in well greased and floured pan. Bake until slight imprint remains when pressed lightly in center. Remove from oven and cool. Makes 36 bars.
