GRILLED GINGER CHICKEN 
2 lbs. chicken breasts or thighs
2 lg. sweet onions, sliced thick

MARINADE:

1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. white wine or sherry
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh ginger root
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Mix ingredients for marinade. Marinate chicken and onions 1 hour or more. (May be marinated overnight). Grill chicken and onions over coals until meat is tender and skin is crisp. Serves 4.
