1 lg. box lime Jello
1 med. can pineapple chunks
1 med. sm. curd cottage cheese
1/2 c. slivered almonds or walnuts
1/2 - 3/4 c. shredded coconut
1 lg. chopped Granny Smith apple

Make Jello according to directions on box. Chill until soft set. Drain pineapple, add to Jello. Add all other ingredients. Whip with fork. Return to refrigerator and chill until set. Serve on a bed of lettuce for salad or with a dollop of Cool Whip for dessert.
