TEXAS PECAN PIE 
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Thoroughly beat all ingredients, except eggs and nuts. Add eggs, beat gently until blended. Fold in nuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 40- 45 minutes.
