SWEDISH WHITE BROWNIES 
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Mix in order given and spread in a 9" square pan. Sprinkle generously with chopped nuts or with Swedish pyrl sugar. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees, but don't over bake or get them too brown. They should remain a very light golden brown. This can be doubled for a 9"x13" pan.
