KRISPY LUNCH PICKLES 
25 - 30 med. cucumbers
8 lg. onions
2 lg. bell peppers
1/2 c. salt
5 c. sugar
5 c. apple cider vinegar
5 tsp. pickling spice (tied in bag)

Slice cucumbers thin, combine with chopped onions, pepper and add salt, let stand for 3 hours then bring sugar, vinegar and spices to a rolling boil. Add cucumbers after draining off water. Heat thoroughly, but do not boil. Put in hot jars and seal. Real good cold with vegetables and other foods.
