BEST FROSTED BROWNIES 
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 1/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. melted butter
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. broken walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla

In small saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. In large bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla, then blend in melted chocolate and butter. Beat until well blended. Sift flour with salt and baking powder, add to rest of mixture. Beat until blended. Batter will look like cake batter. Add chopped nuts. Pour into greased cookie sheet and spread evenly. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes only. When thoroughly cooled, frost and cut into squares.

FROSTING:

2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
Enough milk to blend
