CLAM CHOWDER 
1 can minced clams
3 or 4 sm. red potatoes
12/ c. butter
Bacon
Onions
1 pt. half & half cream
Paprika
Parsley

1. Saute chopped onion in butter. Add crumbled cooked bacon to onions and saute until onions are translucent. Set aside.

2. Cook diced red potatoes and chopped clams in clam juice, NOT water. When potatoes are done, add onion mixture, paprika and parsley. Shut off heat. Add half & half to make the amount of soup you need.
